Desert Hills 41, Foothill 0

LAS VEGAS — The Thunder defense decimated the Falcons, pitching a shutout while scoring a defensive touchdown.

Desert-Hills-smfoothillNick Warmsley had three touchdown passes for Desert Hills and Nephi Sewell returned an interception 30 yards for a score as the Thunder built a 27-0 halftime lead and never looked back.

Warmsley also rushed for a TD in the win as DH improved to 2-0 on the season. The Sewell TD is the second defensive TD in as many games for Desert Hills, which led 3AA in defense a year ago. Through two games, the Thunder are allowing just 6.5 points a game. Zach Fuchs and Mason Palmer each had TD catches and GBridger Cowdin scored two TD runs. DH is home for Legacy next Friday.
