CEDAR CITY — A 56-year-old man was transported to Valley View Medical Center in Cedar City Sunday morning after he was ejected from his motorcycle near mile post 16 on state Route 14.
Around 7:40 a.m. Daniel Eberle, of Washington state, was riding his motorcycle eastbound on SR-14, when he began to veer around a curve in the road, he lost control and went up over a curb and was ejected off the motorcycle down a steep embankment, said Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Lawrence Hopper.
Eberle told UHP troopers on scene that he suffered from the effects of a medical condition where he sometimes loses feeling in his hands, which he said occurred while he was riding and he lost the ability to grip the motorcycle’s handlebars, Hopper said.
Life Flight was called for rope rescue because of the location that Eberle had landed, but it was cancelled after responders were able to get him up the slope. Eberle’s ankle was broken from the crash and he was transported by ground ambulance to Valley View Medical Center in Cedar City.
The motorcycle was towed.

With that medical condition you would think he would be smart enough to not ride a motorcycle. I think he made it up and was just going to fast.
There is no medical condition like that. That was a misprint by the reporter! He was going 30 MPH Bro!
Time to give up riding, Bro. Next time you could take out a fellow rider by not being able to handle your motorcycle. Be glad you only hurt yourself, and for the time you did have riding. Keep the memories alive as well as yourself.

Wow! I thought bikers stuck together! It is possible the rider suffered a stroke, causing one arm to go numb! Aren’t you all quick to judge, when you have no clue what actually occurred!
