Kaden James Jones

Caden(Dec. 13, 2000 – July 22, 2014)

Kaden James Jones of St. George, Utah, age 13, passed away on July 22, 2014 in Salt Lake City, Utah from complications related to Type I diabetes. He was born on December 13, 2000 in St. George to Paul and Marjie Jones.

Kade lived a wonderful life and was a blessing to all who knew him. He was a loving, kind, and friendly young man and treasured opportunities to spend time with his family. He loved adventure, and shared his love of adventure with everyone. He enjoyed basketball, outdoor sports, playing games, and spending time with his friends. He enjoyed many years in Las Vegas and also lived in Price, Utah. He left a legacy of love, kindness, and friendship everywhere he lived and inspired his family and friends with the way he lived his life and the courage with which he faced his illness. He will be remembered as one of the noble and great ones and his memory will live on in our hearts forever.

Kade is survived by his grandparents Don and Rose Anderson, and Peter and Kathryn Jones, his parents Paul and Marjie Jones, his siblings Whitney, Brooke, Bailey, Pyper, Taylor, his nephew Anderson Kade, his nieces June, Anber, and Penny Zele, and many uncles and aunts.

Funeral Services

  • Two viewings will take place: The first will be Friday, July 25, from 6-8 p.m. at the St. George 3rd Ward Chapel, located at 200 W. 500 North in St. George; the second viewing will take place from 1-1:45 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, prior to the funeral, at the same location.
  • The funeral services will take place Saturday, July 26, at 2 p.m. at the St. George 3rd Ward Chapel, 200 W. 500 North in St. George
  • Interment will be at the Tonaquint Cemetery, 1777 S. Dixie Dr. in St. George.
