Duck Creek Campground marks season opening

CEDAR CITY — Springtime is here and with summer around the corner people are ready to explore the forest, recreate and camp in their favorite location. The Dixie National Forest encourages visitors to “Know Before You Go” and learn about the travel conditions and numerous opportunities available for exploration on the Forest.

The Duck Creek Campground opened on Thursday. The Duck Creek Visitor Center and all of the other campgrounds on the Cedar City Ranger District will open on May 23.

Free Dixie National Forest Travel maps are available at the Cedar City District Office, please stop in and pick one up.
