OREM — Kaden Lunt and the Cedar Redmen are living on borrowed time. They’ve decided to make the best of it.
After dropping a game in the opening pod last weekend to Juan Diego, Cedar won its third straight game in the 3A State Tournament with a 3-0 victory over Region 9 rival Pine View at Brent Brown Ballpark Friday.
Lunt was phenomenal, allowing just five hits and squiggling out of every jam Pine View offered.
The Redmen play again tonight to try to make it to championship Saturday.
STGNews videographer Dallas Griffin was there to capture the highlights Friday, including a controversial call in the third inning that opened the door for two runs.
