Suspicious death in Iron County classified as homicide

CEDAR CITY – The investigation surrounding the death of a woman whose body was found near Cedar City has been reclassified as a homicide investigation by the Iron County Sheriff’s Office.

Last week, the body of 33-year-old Cammi Miller was discovered 2 miles south of Cedar City on Tipple Road by sheriff’s deputies. Initially unknown, Miller was identified a few days later.

The investigation has been changed from suspicious to a homicide, according to a statement released by the Iron County Sheriff’s Office Thursday. No additional information regarding the case was released.

The investigation is ongoing. The sheriff’s office is asking anyone with information regarding the death of Cammi Miller to contact investigators by calling the main office line at 435-867-7500 or the tip line at 435-867-5878. Those with information can also share information online at the Iron County Sheriff’s Office website.
