CEDAR CITY – Five upcoming singers and musicians have been chosen through a competitive addition process to perform with the Orchestra of Southern Utah at the “Eyes of Youth” R.L. Halversen Young Artist Concert. The concert will take place in the Cedar City Heritage Center on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
The featured group showcases Southern Utah University students Lindsey Lopez, Alex Byers, Benjamin Bradshaw, Cedar High School senior Liahona Axelson and 14-year-old Miriam Wagstaff.
“We are excited to have these exceptional musicians involved in developing our orchestra,” Emily Hepworth, Orchestra of Southern Utah Manager said.
Concert sponsors, June Thorley and the Sterling and Shelli Gardner Foundation make this great event possible. This concert will conclude the Orchestra of Southern Utah “Cinema Classics” season.
