Dixie State Women’s Resource Program features ‘Women in Politics’

ST. GEORGE – The Dixie State University Women’s Resource Program will host a “Women in Politics” panel discussion and forum on March 19, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the Boeing Auditorium, Room 121, of the DSU Udvar-Hazy Business Building. The event is free and open to the public.

The forum will feature three female Washington County political figures, including Dorothy Engelman representing the Democratic Party, Shauna Jo Larkin representing the Republican Party, and Marianne Sorensen providing an independent viewpoint.

The panel will speak on their experiences in politics and will provide thoughts on improving the presence and authority of women in American politics.
