ST. GEORGE – A two-car collision at Mall Drive and 40 North in St. George Monday afternoon resulted in one person being transported to the hospital.
A citation was issued in connection with the collision for failure to yield. The driver turned right onto Mall Drive off 40 North, failing to stop for a stop sign and striking another vehicle.
The driver whose car was hit received head wounds, St. George Police Sgt. Sam Despain said, and was transported to Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George.
“He was in stable, non-life threatening condition,” Despain said.
The driver who was cited did not receive injuries requiring transport.
