ST. GEORGE – An attempt to make a left turn from Bluff Street onto 100 South in St. George demolished the front of a passenger car when it collided with a pickup truck passing through the intersection Friday night.

Police at the scene were still interviewing witnesses and had yet to determine what color the traffic lights at the intersection might have been at the time of the collision, among other factors, St. George Police Sgt. Jeff Bahlmann said. What is known, he said, is that the passenger car made the left turn when the collision occurred.

No one was injured in the crash. Northbound traffic was diverted onto 100 South while the scene was investigated and eventually cleared. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
