Man arrested for distributing heroin

ST. GEORGE – The Washington County Drug Task Force arrested a St. George man Wednesday for multiple counts of drug distribution.

Jared Deliverance Brock, 24, of St. George, was the subject of three controlled buys of heroin set up by the drug task force that took place over the period of a few months, St. George Police Capt. Kyle Whitehead said.

Once the task force established enough probable cause for an arrest, Brock was arrested and booked into the Purgatory Correctional Facility on three first-degree felony counts of drug distribution. His bail currently stands at $30,000.

Ed. note: Persons charged are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law or as otherwise decided by a trier-of-fact.

There is a bit of irony in his middle name. Jared could use some deliverance from his career of heroin distribution. :/

Best way to get rid of drug dealers is to get rid of the users. Clean up the city reduce the amount of low income housing and increase the costs so they move to Vegas or mesquite. It will be worth the increased living expenses for the rest of us.

Well I know Jared personally, he’s a good kid with a bad problem and if the state of Utah had provided the treatment he asked the probation office for there probably never would be a second arrest. Opioid dependence is a legitimate medical condition and most need help to stop. Again as usual ill pass judgement on the state!

Exactly erica! If the system actually helped instead of setting you yip for failure there would be less drug problems he is a guy with a serious addiction and needs help not jail drug task force needs to stop being such pansies and go after the guys making the drugs and not the poor addicts who want something better just because there easy targets i know Jared personally also and he’s gotthe heart of an angel who just needs and wants rehab

    • ladybugavenger October 11, 2013 at 12:23 am

How about that,? The statement I made is true. He needs to be delivered from his addiction….and Jesus can do that….He needs Jesus. God is not mocked whatsoever a man seweth he shall also reapeth.
