ST. GEORGE – The Late Skate Sk8board Competition promises grinds, kickflips, railslides and more in the City of St. George’s last skateboarding competition of the season.
At 7 p.m. the action begins at the St. George Sk8 Park with lights, music, and talent of all ages.
This is a family friendly outdoor event with competing categories for ages under 8 years old, 9–12 years, 13–15 years and 16 and over.
The five highest scores from combined 45-second runs will advance to the finals in each category.
Skateboarders will compete for over $2,000 in prizes and there will be a raffle for skate gear, available to both both competitors and spectators .
Pizza, cookies and drinks will be supplied to all competitors. Food will be available for purchase by spectators (or bring a picnic basket).
This should be an evening of high-flying entertainment filled with amazing stunts and skills.
