ST. GEORGE – Sen. Mike Lee will be the special guest speaker scheduled to kick-off a series of “Freedom Forums” at Dixie State University, in the Gardner Center. The first forum will be held Friday, Sept. 6, from 7:30-8:30 p.m.
In hopes of increasing awareness and understanding of founding principles and ideas, the Washington County Republican Party will be sponsoring several “Freedom Forums” with noted speakers who will discuss the importance and impact of liberty, representative government, free markets, and other principles on our way of life.
The forums are meant to be insightful and inspiring, with a goal of educating citizens about Republican ideals and principles, and to motivate those citizens to become more engaged and involved.
The Washington County Republican Party especially encourages parents to bring their teen and young adult children to this event with them, as they feel it will provide a great opportunity for them to meet and listen directly to a United States Senator. “Our hope and goal is that the concepts which provide the foundation for America’s greatness can be passed down to the next generation of citizens in our community,” said Nick Lang , chairman of the Washington County Republican Party.
This one-hour event beginning promptly at 7:30 p.m. is free and open to the public, however, space is limited.
