Tuacahn introduces RUSH discount tickets

IVINS – Tuacahn Center for the Arts has introduced RUSH ticket discounts for its 2013 Broadway in the Desert series of shows. RUSH tickets become available for sale at 6 a.m. on the day of each performance. RUSH tickets will provide at least a 50 percent discount from the regular adult ticket price.

“While we provide a variety of discounts throughout the season, the introduction of RUSH tickets will provide those guests with flexibility in their schedules an opportunity to receive a special discount for purchasing tickets on the same day of the performance,” said Scott Raine, Tuacahn’s executive director of marketing and public relations. “RUSH tickets will be offered based on availability and may not be available every day.”

The availability of rush tickets for each performance can be determined by checking Tuacahn’s website. Rush tickets can be purchased online using promotional code RUSH or by calling the Tuacahn box office at 800-746-9882.

This year, Tuacahn has five productions. Disney’s “Mary Poppins,” Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Starlight Express” and “Thoroughly Modern Millie” are being presented in the Tuacahn Amphitheatre through Oct. 25, Disney’s “Mulan” is being presented in the Hafen Theatre through Aug. 10 and “Elf, the Musical” is being presented in the Cox Auditorium at Dixie State University all December.
