What’s eating you? Landscaping workshop on garden pests

ST. GEORGE – On Saturday at 10 a.m., the Washington County Water Conservancy District will host a water-wise landscaping workshop focusing on garden pests at the Tonaquint Nature Center.

The workshop entitled “What’s Eating You?” will be hosted by Utah State University Extension Horticulturist Rick Heflebower. July is the most common month for pests to invade gardens; Heflebower will discuss bugs currently plaguing the country and what gardeners can do about them.

The workshop is free and open to the public. For more information, call the WCWCD at 435-673-3617.
