HURRICANE – The Monster X Tour added the County Fairgrounds in Hurricane to their international tour lineup, and entertained crowds with motocross and monster trucks, Friday and Saturday.

With more than 1,500 horse power, and up to 4 feet of clearance, the trucks easily cleared stacks of cars; entertaining the roaring crowd.

“We had a pretty good turnout,” Tony Maderazzo, COO of Monster Truck Entertainment, said. “It was a good fit for us. It is a great town, and people are friendly.”

Trucks competing in this location of the tour included Rock Star, California Kid, Reverse Racer, and Bucked Up.

The two-day event started off with high winds, limiting the tricks and events for safety precaution. Event organizers were concerned about attendance for the final day, but fans pulled through and hundreds filled in the fairgrounds stands.

Results, truck profiles and future events can be found on the Monster X website.
