Water-wise gardening workshop; ‘River-Friendly Landscapes’

 ST. GEORGE – On Saturday, the Washington County Water Conservancy District will host “Slow, Spread and Sink: River-Friendly Landscapes,” a water-wise landscape workshop.

The workshop will be held at 10 a.m. at the Tonaquint Nature Center in St. George.

District representatives will discuss connecting to your front yard and watershed, learning about rainwater harvesting and creating “Sponge Gardens,” sustainable, aesthetically appealing landscapes.

    Rainwater harvesting I thought that was illegal in Utah. In St George none to harvest anyway!!!
