ST. GEORGE – The Vietnam Veterans of America, Southern Utah Chapter 961, Washington County Veterans Foundation and Zion Harley-Davidson partnered together today to host the National Armed Forces Day Freedom ride.

In a caravan of motorcycles and classic cars, the Freedom Riders gathered at Utah Exit 2 of Interstate 15 this morning and traveled north to Zion Harley-Davidson in Washington City.

Participants and others enjoyed a barbecue at the Zion Harley location, complete with concert featuring music from the Bluesmen, the Loose Connection Band and the Rock Docs.

Donations made will benefit the Washington County Veterans Foundation building fund.
