CEDAR CITY – The Iron County Children’s Justice Center’s annual fundraising 5K and quarter marathon, “Run for the Kids,” will be held May 18.
The event will kick off at 8 a.m. Both races start at the center, located at 545 South 225 East in Cedar City. Entry costs $25 for each. To register, call 435-867-4275 or visit the event website.
Awards and prizes, including an Amazon Kindle Fire book reader and entry into the St. George Marathon, will be given away after the races. All proceeds from the event will go to the center to aid in their efforts of helping at-risk, neglected and abused children.
