Two-car crash between Chick-fil-A and Five Guys

ST. GEORGE – Two cars collided in the intersection of River Road and 100 South, between two busy shopping centers Tuesday afternoon

A Toyota Camry and Nissan Sentra collided in the intersection around 4:25 p.m. The front of the Toyota impacted the left-front of the Nissan. Airbags deployed in both cars. The Toyota stalled in the intersection while the Nissan stopped at the curb by Chic-fil-A.

St. George Police and Fire Departments responded and Gold Cross Ambulance was also called in as a precaution. No one required medical transportation however. The accident partially blocked access to River Road from South 1470 East, but was cleared shortly before 5 p.m.

    First time I have heard of two restaurants colliding with each other. This belongs on one of the late night shows.

    Got to wonder, how can such a small city as this have one to many car accidents… its not like this city is Vegas or LA.

    Running red lights is a plague down here. I wish we had traffic cams. If people started getting $200 fines, we would fewer offenders.

    The word “occured” between Chik-Fil-A and Five Guys would have made it okay.I see this kind of thing all over the place down here.I thought that wasn’t acceptable in English class,let alone supposedly educated journalists. I know we are all human and make mistakes,but the amount it happens is mind numbing.

    So, did St. George new get advertising money for mentioning both fast food places in the headline? This article could have been more informative without mentioning either place, but I guess stg news has to pay the bills.
