ST. GEORGE – Two St. George residents were arrested Wednesday afternoon by the Washington County Area Drug Task Force.

St. George Police Capt. Kyle Whitehead said members of the task force responded to an address on East Middleton Drive and executed a search warrant for drugs.

They encountered a 32-year-old man and 34-year-old woman who both lived at the targeted address. While investigating the scene detectives found methamphetamine, marijuana, and a stolen motorcycle.

The motorcycle has since been returned to the owner.

The two arrested were booked at the Purgatory Correctional Facility on counts of possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, possession of the stolen motorcycle, and distribution of methamphetamine. Bail for each currently stands at $30,972.

Note: Persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty or as otherwise decided by a trier-of-fact.
