An hour after the racers warm up the race will begin tomorrow at 10 a.m. ending with a trophy ceremony between 4 and 5 p.m.

Participants from around the world pay participation fees to help offset the costs associated with the event, which is a perfect mix of friendly competition and fun. Additionally, the event receives numerous donations from participating companies/teams and local businesses, some of which sponsor cars in the race.

Brooke Heath with SkyWest said the Mini Indy has raised nearly $1 million for charities over the event’s 13 years. In the end, it is all for charity. Funds raised go directly to benefit United Way Dixie and the SkyWest Scholarship Fund.
