ST. GEORGE – The St. George Police Department arrested a 30-year-old St. George man suspected to be distributing narcotics Saturday.
Officer Derek Lewis, SGPD public information officer, said the police had information that the suspect was possibly distributing drugs and obtained a warrant to search his home. Once inside they found items believed to be marijuana seeds, drug paraphernalia, cannabis, and methamphetamine.
“The suspected marijuana was in quantities that qualified as distributable amounts,” Lewis said.
The suspect was home when the warrant was served and subsequently arrested. He has been booked into Washington County Purgatory Correctional Facility on five second-degree felony counts involving drug possession and the cultivation and distribution of marijuana, as well as a one class A misdemeanor count for drug paraphernalia.
Ed. Note: Persons arrested are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law or as otherwise decided by a trier-of-fact.

Mori, why don’t you put the name of the “suspect” in the article? It’s ridiculous to not include his name!!
I get arrested for driving without an interlock device and you put my name in the paper, but you withhold the name of someone peddling poison to our youth? WOW!
Doesn’t ring a bell, Lhasa – and it doesn’t come up in a search.
