Car goes over embankment at Community Center

WASHINGTON CITY – Washington City Police responded to a vehicle accident call at the Washington City Community Center Monday morning concerning a vehicle going over an embankment.

The incident involved one vehicle occupied by one individual described as an elderly male. Just before 10 a.m., the driver was entering the parking lot of the Washington City Community Center and for a yet-to-be-determined reason drove off of the embankment south of the parking lot.

The driver was treated for minor injuries at the scene and transported by ambulance to Intermountain Healthcare Southwest Region’s Dixie Regional Medical Center for evaluation.  There were no other parties involved and no other injuries reported relating to this incident.

The incident is still under investigation.
