The event will be held inside the 110,000-square-foot Washington City Community Center, offering four separate areas of entertainment. It is a family-friendly function created with the high standards of the community in mind.
An entire basketball arena is devoted to Kid Land, with giant bounce houses, a slide and appearances from Princess Rapunzel and Spiderman courtesy of Princess Character Visits and Epic Adventure Parties. For just $3, children will have unlimited access to games, face painting, interactive story time and much more.
If you don’t want to fix dinner on New Year’s, the Chow Hall has you covered with plenty of food and drink from local restaurants specializing in everything from burritos to burgers.
At The Commons, you can mingle with friends and people from across Southern Utah while enjoying concessions and watching Dick Clark’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest on giant screens.
Dance the night away at Party Central, featuring a professionally decorated dance zone with local DJs mixing today’s best music. At the stroke of midnight, partygoers will be showered with confetti and hundreds of balloons. Imagine the energy and excitement as Dixie begins 2013!
The Heart of Dixie has been hard at work for the last five months planning this event so all who attend can have an amazing New Year’s Eve. Come ring in 2013 with thousands of people at the largest celebration of its kind in Southern Utah history.
Tickets are available now online; $10 for general admission and $15 for VIP. Pre-registration is recommended but not required. Children under age 10 enter for free.
