Idaho fugitive arrested in Hurricane, faces extradition for sex abuse charges

HURRICANE – An Idaho woman was arrested in Hurricane last week on a fugitive from justice warrant for charges stemming from a sex abuse investigation.

Tara Leigh Bagley, 41, of Burley, Idaho, was arrested at 9:17 a.m. Friday by Ofc. Brent Nelson of the Hurricane City Police Department. She is currently being held at Washington County Purgatory Correctional Facility on $250,000 bail.

The former vice principal of Burley High School, Bagley is facing seven counts of sexual abuse of a minor child in her home state. She has been accused of abusing two female victims, ages 16 and 17.

Her extradition hearing will be held Thursday at the Fifth District Court in St. George.

    tara bagley is a piece of **** if she did what she is accused of doing to those young girls. Anyone with that much authority and influence on children should never have put them in that position. She is a disgusting person and should spend the rest of her life in prison. I feel very sorry for her husband and children, they will be scarred for life because of her actions.
