ST. GEORGE – The local chapter of the Pearl Harbor Survivors’ Association, many other veterans’ organizations and members of the community marked “The Day of Infamy” today in an 11 a.m. memorial ceremony at Vernon Worthen Park in St. George.
The four remaining Pearl Harbor survivors that reside in the St. George area were honored:
Garth Sawyers (US Army) USS ANTARES (AKS-3) • Wardell Jenkins (US Army) 251st C/A Artillery, Camp Malakole • Dick Werner (Honorary) US Navy USS ARIZONA (BB-39) • Lee R. Warren (US NAVY) USS MACDONOUGH (DD-351)
