HURRICANE – The family of an 82-year-old woman who has been missing since Sunday evening is asking the public for help in locating her.

The missing woman, Alice Garrett, left her home in a four-door, silver-colored, 2000 Toyota Avalon sedan with Utah license plate Y133EL. Family members contacted the Hurricane Police Department after Garrett failed to return home and calls to her cell phone were not picked up or returned.

Garrett is white, 5 feet 7inches tall, and weighs 160 pounds with short silver, graying hair. Hurricane Police have listed Garrett and her vehicle with the FBI’s National Crime Information Center as missing.

Family members said while Garrett may have taken her medications with her, they do not know exactly what she took when she left and they are worried about her health and welfare.

Anyone with information about Garrett’s location should contact the Hurricane Police Department at 435-627-4999.
