UDOT weekly road advisory for Washington, Iron counties

SOUTHERN UTAH – The Utah Department of Transportation has released its weekly construction update for Region 4, in which Washington and Iron countries are located. What follows are the various UDOT road projects taking place in the counties and the expected impact they will have on traffic through Sept. 30.

Washington County

State Route 18 – Redhills to milepost 6.5
Contract: A-T Asphalt Paving
Amount: $2,358,950
Location: Bluff Street north of Redhills Parkway for 2.5 miles
Impact:
– Single lane in each direction
– Delays of up to 15 minutes
Activity:
– Paving

State Route 9 – LaVerkin to Rockville
Contract: Western Rock Products
Amount: $1,418,747
Location: East of Zion National Park
Impact:
– Single lane traffic with flagging operations
Activity:
– Grinding rumblestrips
– Flushing road surface
– Painting

Iron County

Interstate 15 – Summit to Paragonah
Contract: W. W. Clyde & Co
Amount: $11,236,000
Location: Mileposts 69 to 83
Impact:
– Weekday single lane closures during construction hours
Activity:
– Paving

Restore 14
Contract: Kiewit Infrastructure West
Amount: $14,924,148
Location: S.R. 14 Cedar Canyon. Mileposts 7 to 18
Impact:
– Potential lane restrictions
Activity:
– Finishing project
