St. George man arrested for stabbing

ST. GOERGE – Officers were called to the area of 600 W 600 North in St. George Friday afternoon on a report of a stabbing.

The officers arrived and found a 22-year-old male with cuts on his arm. Possible suspects were detained within a few minutes of police arrival.

After speaking with the victim and witnesses it appeared that some type of argument between three individuals turned physical, and at some point a knife was used to cut the victim.

The victim then ran to the Dixie Ambulance office located across the street and asked for help. He was subsequently transported to the Dixie Regional Medical Center. His injuries did not appear to life threatening.

A 29-year-year St. George man was arrested for the alleged stabbing on one count of aggravated assault and booked into jail.
