WASHINGTON CITY – A teenage male was air-lifted to the hospital Wednesday night after being struck by a vehicle.
Police Chief Jim Keith of the Washington City Police Department said a teenage male was skateboarding on Sandia Road at night when he was hit by a car driven by a young adult female around 9:15 p.m.
Keith said the juvenile was transported to Dixie Regional Medical Center via Life Flight in critical condition. He was subsequently flown to Las Vegas.
The driver was not cited.
