Police warn of recent increase in vehicle burglaries

HURRICANE – A significant increase in the number of reported vehicle burglaries within Hurricane City limits has the Hurricane Police Department reminding the public to keep their vehicles locked and secure.

Items of value should never be left behind in a vehicle and doors should always be locked. Criminals are targeting the easily accessible vehicle and taking personal items that are many times within full view. Protect yourself by taking valuables inside and locking doors behind you.

The public is also asked to help the police department be the eyes and ears of the community and to report any suspicious activity by calling 435-627-4999.

I actually have bait cars set up to lure out the local criminals. I monitor them with real-time video surveillance. In one car I have a box with the following label on it: ‘Expensive medical equipment that is critical for my survival.’ If anyone attempts to take this I will be justified in shooting them dead with my scoped rifle.

If anyone is dumb enough to steal something that has that written on it,they ought to be shot for being that idiotic. You can’t fix stupid, but you can annihilate it;-)

So Murat………Is this the same special medical equipment that helps you the smoke inhalation you received from the motel fire that you just barely escaped this week? It’s good to see that you have recovered but shouldn’t that important medical equipment be with you to be effective ?
