We sprayed it with fire extinguishers. People were getting them from cars as they passed. I emptied the large one we had with us. It didn’t do anything. A few of us got burned when a tire exploded. We had to back away then. It was over at that point.
It happened very quickly. There was nothing we could do. The emergency services arrived as fast as could be expected. There were dozens helping. And to everyone that tried or was gathering the extinguishers, Thank You for trying.
Bless this family. Your loved ones did not suffer long.

So they burned alive with witnesses injured attempting to rescue? Such bravery and such a horrible outcome! If it couldn’t be helped, it couldn’t be helped, but where is this in the reporting?! All the article says is “were killed in the crash.” That’s hardly honest reporting. Thanks for sharing and for risking your life Havaloc.
