ST. GEORGE – St. George Police responded to a robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank at 144 E. Brigham Road Thursday afternoon.
Capt. James Van Fleet of the St. George Police Department said that at 2 p.m., a man entered the bank, approached a teller and demanded money. The man then left the bank with an undisclosed amount.
The man is described as a white male between 55-60 years old, is approximately 5 foot 9 inches tall, has a medium build, and was wearing a light green polo shirt, shorts, wire-frame glasses and a black and red baseball cap.
No weapons were displayed during the robbery and no injuries were reported. The FBI is on scene and is assisting with this investigation.
