CEDAR CITY – The Cedar Redmen ended the Snow Canyon Warriors season last night with a 56-36 win at Cedar High School.

The Redmen trailed by two after the first quarter 13-11.

The second-quarter was a different story the Redmen held the Warriors to just two points and took 22-15 lead at the half.

The Redmen continued their run in the second half, starting the third-quarter on a 21-3 run. Extending their lead to 43-18 after three quarters.

The Redmen outscored the Warriors 32-5 in the second and third quarters combind.

The Warriors ended their season with a good fourth-quarter effort but came up way short. The Warriors scored the same amount of points in the fourth quarter 18, as they did in the first three quarters.

Trent Snow who made four 3-pointers and finished with a double double, scoring 22 points and grabbing 15 rebounds led the Redmen. Kyler Nielson also had a double double scoring 11 points and bring down 10 rebounds.

Brayden Linde was the only Warrior in double figures finishing out his high school career with 12 points and eight rebounds.

The Warriors season ends here failing to make the playoffs. The Warriors end the season 10-10 overall and 5-7 in region play.

The Redmen end the regular season tied for second place in Region 9 at 9-3 but lost the coin toss with Hurricane. The Redmen fall to the third seed and will take on the defending state champions Wasatch on Saturday at 7 p.m. in Wasatch. The Redmen end the regular season at 16-5 overall.
