ST. GEORGE – Dixie State College of Utah’s Career Center will host a special Dress for Success Fashion Show, sponsored by Dillard’s, on Thursday, Feb. 16th, in Conference Room B of the DSC Gardner Center at 7 p.m. The fashion show will provide information regarding how to dress to impress employers either at recruiting events or for a job interview, with DSC students serving as models dressed in the latest in business attire provided by Dillard’s.

Dillard’s will give students tips on how to look their professional best without necessarily spending a lot of money. The fashion show is being held in advance of DSC’s Annual Employment Fair, which takes place on Tuesday, February 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the Gardner Center Ballroom.

“According to statistics 55 percent of another person’s perception of you is based on how you look,” says Kathy Kinney, DSC Career Center and Employment Services Director. “It is important to remember that you are marketing yourself to potential employers, and one of the first things an employer will notice about you is your attire.”
