ST. GEORGE – Officers arrested a man at the Economy Lodge after he allegedly grabbed a 44-year-old woman in the chest and genital area.
According to a press release, the two had been drinking together the evening of Dec. 1. Officers said the alleged crime occurred in the parking lot when the suspect, Elpidio Armondo Figueroa, told the female that he wanted to have sex. The woman yelled loudly and another friend came out outside.
When officers arrived, Figueroa was still on scene. The press release stated he was intoxicated at the time. Figueroa was arrested for Forcible Sex abuse and Unlawful Detention.
