Washington City man arrested on charges of sodomy, rape

WASHINGTON CITY – Officers arrested a 22-year-old Washington City man on Halloween on two counts of sodomy of a child and one count of rape of a child.

Ed Kantor, Public Information Officer in Washington, said Carlos Nunez Vallejo was arrested without incident. The incident allegedly occurred in November of 2010.

Kantor said the victim is a female under the age of 14.

“There is no evidence at this time that there are any additional victims related to this case,” Kantor said.

* Persons accused are presumed innocent unless found guilty in a court of law.

well i think this is very stupid!! i mean come one the detective or the girl that was “rape” does not have any prove or does she? why dont they say her name? what if that girl was with alot of guys? and she is just blaming Carlos Vallejo????? this is very stupid well thats what i think, and he has not been proven guilty!! -My Prayers go too u and the family!

You should re-read the article. They don’t say her name in the article because she is under the age of 14. Did you really say what if she is with guys a lot? What would that matter anyways? Rape is Rape. Whether or not he is guilty is up to a judge and the evidence in the case not mine or your opinion. Let the evidence prove what is right. I think the part that is stupid is that stuff like this even happens at all.

Unfortunately, it’s not always about truth or evidence. Especially if it’s a he said she said situation. Guilty or innocent this will scar lives forever. More often than not, it’s about who tells the better story, and who can put on the best show for the jury. It’s often easier to believe the child than the young adult. I don’t believe he is capable of such and act.

This young child is a victim. When the facts come out in court, those who defended him will be ashamed to say they knew him.
