Game Preview: Desert Hills at North Sanpete

The Desert Hills Thunder have the No. 1 defense in Region 9 and one of the best running backs in the Region in Mike Needham. Needham rushed for 171 yards last week in the Thunders first win of the season.

North Sanpete is scoring 12.5 points per game. In week one, the Hawks gave up 44 points to Millard; but in week two, a totally different defense showed up not allowing any points to Union. Union did get on the board because of a safety.

In this matchup of two 1-1 teams, Desert Hills’ defense will be the difference.
