Police Identify Man Found at Bottom of Cliff

ST. GEORGE – Police identified the man whose body was located at the bottom of a cliff Saturday as Thomas Corbin, 29, of St. George.

On Saturday, the St. George Police Department received a call of a missing person at 2:30 a.m.  The caller stated that the missing person was last seen with a friend on a ridge above the Southgate area of St. George, said Capt. James Van Fleet.

Officers searched the area and located Corbin’s body around 4:30 a.m. at the base of a cliff.

Van Fleet said it is unclear at this point if Corbin fell, jumped or was pushed over the cliff edge.
