ST. GEORGE – The Dixie Rebels are being rewarded for their outstanding season with an invitation to play in the Sunset Bowl.
The Rocky Mountain Football League has announced the game on their website (click here for the RMFL site) saying,
“VERY EXCITING NEWS: The RMFL is pleased to announce, that the AAA Champion DIXIE REBELS have accepted the challenge in playing the River City Gators of the NCFL in the Sunset Bowl in Las Vegas on August 13th.
“The 9-2 Gators’ only losses have been to the Pacifica Islanders, who are playing for the National Championship later that night.
“Make us proud REBELS…”
According to the Dixie Rebel’s facebook page the game is slated to begin at 1 p.m. and further details will be announced when available.

It will begin at 1PM Vegas Time (2PM Mountain Time) and tickets are $10 at the door.
Everyone come out and support the team! It’ll be a blast!
The location of the game has been changed. It’s the same time 1:00 Vegas time 2:00 local time, but it has been changed to Western High School if anyone is wanting to go.
