Ivins Man Arrested on Five Counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor

IVINS – An Ivins man was arrested yesterday evening on five counts of sexual exploitation of a minor – a 2nd degree felony.

Ronald Craig Nelson, 56, of Ivins, was arrested at just after 5:30 p.m. and is being held on $50,000 bail.

Lt. Randall from the Ivins Police Department would not comment on the incident but referred all media questions to the Washington County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. The Attorney’s Office said no one has been assigned to the case yet.

Utah law states that a minor is anyone under the age of 14.
