High School students conduct scientific natural resources research at Blue Springs near Panguitch Utah

Color Country Natural Resources students like Tuacahn High School graduate Patrick Kelly and Desert Hills High School Junior Tanner Baird take tree core samplings Wednesday during the vegetation studies workshop at Blue Springs near Panguitch, Utah.

Students apply to the camp to gain skills in natural resources through expert-led workshops and seminars like soil and water sampling, plant and wildlife investigations, and more. The camp, hosted by federal, county, and state agencies and area business, continues through Saturday June 4, 2011. For more information on the camp go to: ccnrcamp.org.
