I-15, Black Ridge to the Iron County Line

Contract: W.W. Clyde & Co.

Amount: $17,338,995

Location: Between the Toquerville and New Harmony exits.

Impact: * Single lane closures both directions at the New Harmony Exit after Memorial Day.

* Lane shifts to accommodate paving and grading.

Activity: * Paving southbound lanes from mileposts 34 to 42

* Bridge deck repairs at Exit 42.

* Excavation and ramp work near Exit 36.

* Sub-grade work on the northbound outside lane.

 

I-15, Dixie Drive Interchange

Contract: Washington County Constructors

Amount: $52,549,452

Location: St. George (Mileposts 5 – 6)

Impact: * Two lanes of traffic remain open in both directions.

* All exits are open.

* Speed is reduced to 55 m.p.h.

* Northbound traffic has been shifted to the southbound side of the interstate near the Santa Clara bridge.

* Traffic lanes have been shifted on Hilton Drive.

* The Hilton Drive Trail is closed.

Activity: * Paving.

* Retention walls west of I-15.

* Structural preparation for the future southbound on-ramp.

* Hilton Drive box culvert concrete work.

* Flood debris removal and dredging.

* Electrical line work.

S.R. 212, Telegraph Street

Contract: Interstate Rock Products

Amount: $5,515,140

Location: City of Washington, 500 West to 300 East

Impact: * Beginning at 8 p.m. nightly lane restrictions from 300 W to Green Springs Drive.

* Beginning at 8 p.m. nightly lane restrictions from Telegraph to Middleton Drive.

* Temporary intersection alteration and flagging operations.

* Traffic lanes weave through the project.

* Reduced speeds.

* One lane of traffic in each direction.

* Sidewalk closures.

Activity: * Sealing the road underneath the I-15 Exit 10 overpass.

* Resurfacing the road at the Green Springs – Telegraph Intersection.

* Storm drain installation.

* Road widening.

* Retaining wall installation near 400 West.

* Utility work and landscaping.

 

S.R. 59, Arizona State Line to Apple Valley

Contract: A-T Asphalt Paving

Amount: $1,998,101

Location: Mileposts 0 to 11

Impact: * Oversized loads restricted.

* Pilot car operations with delays of up to 15 minutes.

Activity: Setting up traffic control and project equipment.

 

S.R. 9, 300 West To 800 North Hurricane

Contract: Interstate Rock Products

Amount: $10,203,871

Location: Hurricane City State Street

Impact: Expect single lane closures.

Activity: * Manhole work.

 

Southern Parkway Advanced Traffic Management

Contract: Transcore ITS

Amount: $370,674

Location: S.R. 7 Mileposts 0 to 7

Impact: No traffic impacts.

Activity: Fiber optic installation, junction boxes, camera foundations.
