Traffic to be restricted for St. George Triathlon Event
HURRICANE – Traffic around the south side of Sand Hollow Reservoir will be closed to the general public on Saturday, May 21, to accommodate athletes participating in the St. George Triathlon competition.
Police will shut down Sand Hollow Road from the Sand Hollow State Park entrance to 3000 S. and 1100 W. at 7: 30 a.m. The road will remain closed until 1 p.m. Only authorized personnel will be allowed on the southern portion of Sand Hollow Road during this time period.
Drivers in the Sky Ranch subdivision area are urged to use caution and watch for bicyclists and others who are using the restricted area.
Access to Sand Hollow Road will remain open from the SR-9 turnoff.
