Couple Arrested in Stolen Vehicle

LA VERKIN – A Virgin couple was arrested in La Verkin last night after an officer pulled them over in a stolen vehicle.

Police Chief Lloyd Watkins said the vehicle was stolen out of St. George a few weeks ago. During a traffic stop, the officer found evidence of drugs and paraphernalia in the vehicle. The driver was also cited for driving on a suspended license and failure to use headlights.
