St. George Man Arrested for Breaking into Vehicle in Smith’s Parking Lot, Using Stolen Cards

ST. GEORGE – A 27-year-old St. George man was arrested Sunday afternoon after allegedly breaking into a locked vehicle in the Smith’s parking lot and using stolen credit cards to make purchases.

Sgt. Ivor Fuller with the St. George police department said the victim called police after discovering the window of their vehicle had been smashed and personal items had been stolen. The victim called police a second time after discovering their credit and debit cards was being used. Officers were able to locate the suspect at a gas station attempting to use the cards.

Fuller said the suspect was also in possession of methamphetamines, drug paraphernalia and a knife.
