Las Vegas Residents Arrested for Stealing Big-O Tires

3 arrested for stealing big o tires

ST. GEORGE – Three Las Vegas men were arrested this morning around 1:30 a.m. after stealing approximately $7,000 in tires from Big-O Tire on the Boulevard.

Sgt. Craig Harding said a police officer patrolling the area noticed a truck loaded with tires in the Big-O parking lot and asked the men what they were doing. The men stated they had permission to pick up junk tires. The officer, who had noticed the tires were new, called the manager of Big-O who came to the store to confirm that the tires were being stolen. All the tires, approximately 90 of them, were new or warranty tires.

Harding said Big-O had stacked the tires in the front and back of the building and the tires were not secured.

That seems very ignorant of Big O to leave tires out (especially that many!) unsecured. Hopefully this will teach them to spend the extra money to secure them down!
