SOUTHERN UTAH – Each year, Southern Utah Home Builders Association (SUHBA) awards scholarships to deserving students attending college or vocational school. Preference for scholarships is given to students pursuing construction-related education and students affiliated with SUHBA; however all students may apply. The scholarship may be used to fund almost any post-secondary education, i.e., college or vocational, public or private. Recipients may be awarded up to $1,000 per academic year.

SUHBA Scholarships are made possible in part by funds generated from the annual SUHBA Scholarship Golf Tournament and the Parade of Homes Builders.

The Southern Utah Home Builders Association is a trade association representing 430+ building industry businesses throughout Washington, Kane and San Juan Counties of Southern Utah. Our mission is to build communities. Our tools are education, communication, participation and advocacy.

The deadline to submit the scholarship application is April 15, 2011. Scholarship recipients will be notified by May 17, 2011.
