WASHINGTON COUNTY – In late November, citizens reported two horses running on State Road 9, near Rockville, Utah.

The horses were removed from the roadway and temporarily housed in a nearby corral to keep them from harm. The Springdale/Zion Canyon Public Safety and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office have attempted to locate the owners of the horses, but have been unsuccessful.

It is unclear if the horses have wandered away from their own corral or were abandoned. The sheriff’s office is asking for any information about the owners of the horses. If you recognize them or have any information, please contact 435-656-6500.
